Lineke Lever, pianist and Oihana Aristizabal Puga, cellist, recorded their CD ‘La Lecture’ in BIJ ANDREAS in December 2019. It is about the Dutch pianist Suzanne Manet – Leenhoff. The CD was recorded by TRPTK.
There we were yesterday, exactly 2 weeks before the first recording day, at our recording location ‘Bij Andreas’ in Naarden. Piano tuner Charles Rademaker was also there and he had both grand pianos set up for us to try out. We were given the time to play quietly, listen, feel, think and spar together. Charles and Hankie (from ‘Bij Andreas’ in Naarden) also listened and yes, their choice was ours: we will definitely make the recordings on the Steinway…! And oh yes, the cello remains the same, the Gianotti 🙂
