For Sunday 30 April 2023 we have invited pianist Ruben Plazier. Ruben obtained his Diplôme Supérieur d’èxécution unanimously in 2021 at the Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris, where he was supervised by Jean-Bernard Pommier.
After two days of intensive master classes, the nine students give a final concert in which they present themselves to each other, to masters Nino Gvetadze, Mariam Batsashvili and Diana Ketler, and to the audience. An excellent opportunity to hear how much talent has gathered in Naarden. We will certainly be hearing more from some of them!

The very first edition of NIPF Masterclass starts with a dazzling opening concert. Masters Nino Gvetadze, Mariam Batsashvili and Diana Ketler demonstrate their mastery in a program with virtuoso music by Franz Liszt, but also with melancholy sounds by Valentin Silvestrov. Of course we also welcome the nine students to this concert, for many the first meeting with their teachers for the coming days.

Satomi Chihara is undoubtedly one of the young up-and-coming piano talents in the Netherlands. She won third prize and the Bärenreiter Praha Prize at the 58th Beethoven Hradec International Competition (2022).
